Three years ago stableBASE was a farmers field, since then we have transformed it into a modern home surrounded by gardens, paddocks and newly planted trees.
stableBASE is an architecturally designed contemporary holiday cottage located in beautiful countryside just minutes from the centre of Albany, stunning beaches and national parks.
The accommodation was completed in 2015 and contains everything you will need for a relaxing break on the pristine south coast of WA. It has well appointed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a living / dining space connected to a north facing deck to enjoy Albany’s tranquil summer evenings.

stableBASE is a fully self-contained private wing of our house and has been constructed to the same high environmental design standards. The building’s passive solar design is light and airy with high levels of insulation to keep the spaces cool in summer and warm in winter.
The gardens and paddocks surrounding stableBASE on our 6-acre property are being developed using organic and permaculture principles to enhance and regenerate the landscape and wildlife. The produce from our gardens and free-range eggs are available for guests to enjoy while staying with us.
